Delicious sea bass with paprika potatoes

Mikey has created another very special dish on Foston's Ash new winter menu.

Sea bass with paprika potatoes, roasted peppers and wilted spinach and a caper vinaigrette. He's also added a veggie tagine, spinach and potato curry and venison pie to keep your taste buds excited.

Richard and his team at The Old Fleece have today launched the Winter Menu.

With new dishes such as slow braised steak and wild mushroom pie, your tummy will give you a warm thanks after your meal. They've even added port and stilton to the pudding taster menu, so you can still get your cheese hit, even when you're almost bursting.

The nights are drawing in, the air has a chill and the clocks go back on Sunday: winter is definitely coming. But we're not disheartened because we love the colder months. For us, it's all about cosying up by a roaring fire in one of our venues, sipping something boozy and warming, and looking forward to Christmas. We're even more excited about lighting our fires this year because we're providing all the logs ourselves. This is the first year we've been managing the woodland at Grigshot Farm and on neighbouring land and we'll be entirely self sufficient in wood for our open fires at all of our venues. Come and warm your cockles with us.
